A Fleischer Christmas Cartoon!
Enjoy this Fleischer Studios color cartoon featuring Grampy, the lovable inventor who can solve any problem! Grampy first appeared in Fleischer films together with Betty Boop in 1935, and began entertaining audiences with his wacky solutions to problems. Grampy’s voice is by animator Jack Mercer (who also did the voice of Popeye).

Of special interest is the opening scene that uses a 3D ‘set-back’- one of Fleischer Studios’ patented innovations that created the illusion of 3D depth. You’ll notice that your view of things in the background moves around as you pass them, instead of remaining stationary.
